A REUNION UNDER THE SETTING SUN

A REUNION UNDER THE SETTING SUN

Silence fell over the busy street corner.

The businessman was no longer a powerful billionaire.

No longer a respected public figure.

At that moment, he was simply a grieving father and a heartbroken grandfather.

His hands trembled as he pulled the boy into a tight embrace.

He held him as though letting go would mean losing his daughter all over again.

"I'm sorry," he whispered through tears.

"I'm sorry I found you too late."

Warm tears soaked into the boy's old hoodie.

The boy's name was Leo.

After his mother died from a long illness in a small rented apartment, he was left completely alone.

For months, he survived with the help of homeless people living beneath the subway tunnels.

Every day was a struggle.

Every night was uncertain.

Before she passed away, Leo's mother left him only one thing.

A memory.

She told him about a wealthy grandfather he had never met.

And she gave him a final instruction.

"If you ever need help, look for a man who carries a leather wallet with my picture inside."

Leo never imagined fate would place that very wallet in his hands.

Especially on this exact street.

After finally calming down, the billionaire held Leo's hand and guided him toward the waiting limousine.

Their first destination was not his mansion.

It was a clothing store.

Then a warm family restaurant.

He wanted to make up for every cold night and every hungry day his grandson had endured.

That evening, inside his brightly lit mansion, the old man carefully placed his daughter's photograph above the fireplace.

It occupied the most important place in the entire house.

He then turned and looked toward Leo.
