"Mariana! I was wrong! I was completely blinded by that snake Brenda! Please, look at our four years of marriage and save V-Capital!" Andrew prepared to drop to his knees to grasp the hem of her gown.
The security detail immediately intervened, pinning Andrew's arms behind his back and forcing his face down onto the highly polished floor. Mariana paused, looking down at the man who had once demanded she kneel before him.
